We are qualified personal property appraisers and members of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) which provides the most comprehensive personal property appraisal education program in America.  We are based in Williamsburg Virginia, serving the Hampton Roads / Tidewater area of Virginia, Richmond and beyond.We appraise just about anything including fine art, antiques to modern furniture and general household contents.

We provide appraisals for insurance purposes, estate valuation or division, IRS charitable contributions and more. Whether you have one piece needing appraisal or an entire estate, we can provide you with outstanding service. Our appraisal standards conform with those of the IRS, courts and insurance companies.

Williamsburg Appraisers conforms to The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).  These are the generally accepted standards for professional appraisal practice in North America. USPAP contains standards for all types of appraisal services, including personal property.


Dan Rogers, Chief Appraiser

Dan has developed a wide range of skills and expertise over the past ten years in the area of personal property. A love a history inspired a keen interest in antiques, fine art and collectables. He is a member of the International Society of Appraisers, where he received training through the most comprehensive property appraisal education program in America. He specializes in a broad range of items including art, coins, art glass, collectables and other personal property items.  Though his extensive network, his is able to call on experts in specialty areas to determine value and information. He possesses excellent communication skills and strives to meet and exceed customer expectations.
